Why are there no more floatingtanks in Sweden?

Why putting entrance on the long side?

Open the door and top door.
Go in, sit down there you will float. Easy even for those who suffer from claustrophobia. Great for those who are suffering from pain. Protected design in Europe and other countries in the world.

Why is door better on the long side than the short side, I do not understand the difference?
Those who have previously tried to float the difference appear directly. The floatation tanks on the market today is tight and the inside is small in comparison to the Spirit. Hard to explain but I'll try. If you think yourself an egg. A big egg and you crawled in from the short side, you have the upper part of the egg as a circle. Thus becomes the sidewalls intrusive and can create feelings of claustrophobia. Imagine yourself to get inside a tube, it's pretty comparable. In our model will is the walls straight and rounded form are just in the upper part and then there is a feeling of greater spaciousness for the floater. And when you go into the tank, it’s minimizing claustrophobic feeling to zero. Now, we have skilled floaters who used the "eggshell" model but now says; No more eggshell,-in the future will I just floating in a Restingwell floatation tank. The difference is huge.

Is the Restingwell tank a different kind of floating tank than those on the market?
Yes. We've been thinking about the user in the first place, i.e. the one who float. The problem is with the models on the market today are designed in the manner that makes you crawl into and out of floating tank. They are not made for the floater since the entrance is on the short end.

If I want to float. What do I do?
Do not know where you can test floating, go to the www.restingwell.net there is a list of places in Sweden where you can test floatation. Otherwise, please send us an email and we will try to help you.

Now I know where I'm going to float. What should I have with me?
When you go for floatation experience should you have with you things that you have with you to the beach / swimming pool. Shampoo, soap, towel and maybe some skin lotion. Many use swimsuits. Juice to drink afterwards. Remember to plan the day so you do not need to rush away after the floatingsession.

Preparation before floating?
No nothing special, Do not drink too much coffee or other caffeine before because you may become restless by it when you try to relax. One trick if you get restless is focusing on your breathing and your heart rate. You can hear your own heart rhythm in the tank, which is unusual nowadays. When you hear your heartbeat last?
Do not shave just before the floatation session.

The recommended time for a floating pass?
We recommend our customers to count as follows:

15 min before floatation for shower and changing clothes.

45 min Floatation

15 min after floating for shower and changing clothes. So total time by the flotation tank is 1 hr 15 min

Important is do not expose yourself to unnecessary stressful moments. Harmonious and peaceful environment is a must. No stress before or after the floating pass. Many floatation tank owners want to pull through as many as possible and believe that everything will go in one hour in total. Just this itself will create more stress. Request an hour and fifteen minutes when you float. Remember! There is no use to try 'mini' floating 'in 30 minutes, you can not

get the correct effect.

I feel still uncertain, can floating help?
Floating helps many. But maybe not 100% but not far from it. What is certain is that there is not for nothing research is being conducted worldwide.. The problem is that there are so few places offering floating in Sweden and elsewhere. As I said, research shows unequivocally that the floating help.

I'm not sure what to do.
There is a "checklist" to our customers to use.  All our Restingwells customers should have this, it's just to ask.

Why are there no more floatingtanks Europe and Sweden?
There are about 150 units in Sweden. Perhaps poor marketing or flotation tank was earlier a high investment cost. We at Restingwell trying to provide information on floating as best we can. Without information, there are no customers. No customers - no one wants to invest in a flotation tank. We will do our best inform about floating almost everywhere. One thing is for sure that floating is good way as a good alternative in health care.
